Kate's Project Trust works in the slum areas of Pattaya in Thailand and since its inception in 2006 has helped hundreds of children attend school and also improved living conditions for many families.
Although a small organization, Kate's Project has big aspirations and has made a great impact on the scattered communities across the city of Pattaya.By far the most important aim of the Trust is to offer education to the poorest of families, where schooling is seen as an expensive and unachievable luxury. To date some 250 children attend various schools in the region and as well as school fees, the Project also funds a daily lunch and of course a school uniform and any teaching materials that are needed.
This website highlights the many positive developments achieved so far and the drive for even further help to more families.
CAMINO WALK/ September 2013
Roisin Hall and Andrew McCarroll (co-founders and directors of the charity) have returned from Reiti in Italy after having walked the last 120km of the Camino of St Francis .
As founders of Kate's Project Trust, they see this as a unique and very special way of raising funds to keep the charity going.
WATER FILTERS / August 2013
Contaminated water is a real problem for all the families who live in the slums. By supplying simple water filters families will now be able to drink clear drinkable water.
Thanks to William and the Pattaya Sports Club for their ongoing support in this area.
HAPPY VOLUNTEER / June 2013
